The new Early Childhood Program at the St. Mary's School in Wappingers Falls is dedicated to providing a nurturing and enriching educational experience for our young learners. Our school not only offers a free Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program for four-year-olds, but also a tuition-based Kindergarten-to-Second Grade Multi-Age Room, specifically designed to cater to students who might need a little extra support and attention during this crucial transitional phase.
Located at 2 Convent Ave, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590, the Early Childhood Campus provides a safe, caring environment, dedicated to academic excellence, within the framework of a classical Catholic Education. As they play, learn, make their own choices, and socialize, children develop creative and critical thinking, as well as gross and fine motor skills, through active, hands-on exploration.
Children who are residents of the Wappingers Central School District may be eligible for their district's Universal Pre-Kindergarten lottery. Your child must be registered for the program though your district to be eligible for the lottery. Deadlines are set by the district and may vary. Please click on the district link below for their registration information.

Founded in 1893 to serve the educational needs of our community, St. Mary’s School is a faith-centered learning community. Each day brings new opportunities – learning a new language, solving a math problem, discovering a new word in a reading group, experimenting in the science lab, creating a work of art. Students learn Catholic doctrine, morals, and values in daily formal religion classes. These values are integrated into all subject areas and permeate the entire climate of the school. The school’s collaborative approach and family atmosphere are consistent with its mission of being committed to the spiritual and overall academic excellence of its students.
St. Mary’s faculty are qualified, experienced professionals dedicated to high academic standards and committed to providing each student with the opportunity to shine in his or her own way.
We encourage you to come for a visit to see if a values-based education in a nurturing environment may be the right choice for your child.
