St. Mary’s School offers a strong core curriculum that merges high academic standards with a values-based education. The school focuses on character development and service as well as academic achievement. It works cooperatively with its families and community to educate its students and instill Christian values. The primary goal of the program of instruction in St. Mary’s School is to provide learning experiences, which develop the values, attitudes, knowledge and skills necessary for the student’s moral, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development.
The Curriculum Guidelines issued by the State Education Department of the University of the State of New York and the Archdiocesan Department of Education are the basis for the curriculum developed to meet the needs of the student population served.
